Everytime I get a new pillow for my husband it turns yellow. Right through the case and cover. Is it diet?

This happens gradually over around a six month period. Gets worse every day. Only where his head comes in contact with the pillow.
He doesn’t smoke. Sleeps with his window cracked opened and sleeps only with a sheet on top of him. The Temperature in his room is set at around 55-60. I guess he could still sweat, but doesn’t seem to.
